I live in the West Midlands
of the UK and I've been riding bikes on and off since my teens.
My web pages had to be about bikes since it governs my work
time and my leisure. I work full time as a
motorcycle instructor, I ride as often as time and money
allows and when it's raining I build scale models or race
on my PC. I holiday on my bike when I can afford it (not often)
and I try to avoid cleaning bikes whenever possible.
My other passion in life
(apart from my beautiful girlfriend who will undoubtedly see
this site, hello dear) is walking, mainly in the hills. As
anybody who rides a bike knows, the freedom is one of the
main attractions. I get a similar feeling when I'm up a mountain,
taking in the stunning scenery away from all the crap of daily
life. I rode the mountain passes of Switzerland in 2001 with
a friend but never got to really appreciate the scenery (you
try looking round when you've got thirty hairpins in front
of you!) so I went back in 2003 with my girlfriend to walk
around the place.
I hope by visiting this site you
might find other aspects of motorcycles of some interest and
that I can point you in the right direction. If you're an
armchair racer I'd definitely give the GP500 game a go.
Please leave any comments about
this site in the guestbook, good or bad, I welcome constructive
criticism.
