Tamiya 14092 1/12 Repsol Honda RC211V

Finally got round to building one of these beautiful bikes. I'd heard that Studio 27 might discontinue the West decals so I bought some and decided to do this version first. I love the paintwork on the West bikes so it wasn't hard to make the decision to do this painjob first. The decals from Studio 27 are very nice, with very clean edges but they are very thin and not for the faint hearted! The adhesive is very good and initial placement of the decal is essential as they stick straight away. I found that a good dollop of Micro Sol on the part helped with moving the decal into position if you're not too accurate.
